Google Calendar sync
3 articles · Connect, use and troubleshoot calendar sync
1. How to connect Google Calendar
Available on Starter and Pro plans
- In the dashboard, go to Settings → "Integrations" tab
- Click the "Connect Google Calendar" button
- A Google window opens — sign in with the desired Google account
- Accept the requested permissions (read + write calendar access)
- Sync is active immediately — a green indicator confirms the connection
Important: Use the same Google account as your professional calendar. If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure you're signed into the right one before accepting permissions.
2. How sync works
- Every appointment booked via moboo is automatically added to your Google Calendar
- Cancellations and reschedules are also synced in real time
- Events already in your Google Calendar are read to prevent double bookings
- Sync is bidirectional — if you block a slot in Google Calendar, moboo detects it
Sync delay: Sync happens within 30 seconds of each action. You can also force a refresh from Settings → Integrations.
3. Fix a sync issue
If Google Calendar stops syncing:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → check that the status shows "Connected"
- If the status is "Disconnected" or "Error": click "Reconnect"
- Sign in again with the same Google account
- If the issue persists, disconnect completely, wait 1 minute, then reconnect
Note: Google sometimes revokes access after 6 months of inactivity. That's normal — just reconnect. If the issue persists after several attempts, contact support: contactmoboo404@gmail.com
