D-1
D-1 reminder
Sent the day before at 9am with appointment details
H-2
H-2 reminder
Sent 2 hours before the appointment
No-show
No-show email
Sent if you mark a client as "Absent" — includes a link to rebook
After visit
After-visit email
Sent if you mark a client as "Present" — thank-you and loyalty message
2. Customize email templates
- In Settings, scroll down to the "Automatic emails" section
- Click the email to edit (Confirmation, D-1 reminder, etc.)
- Edit the text using the available variables:
| {name} | Client's first name |
| {date} | Appointment date |
| {time} | Appointment time |
| {service} | Booked service |
| {business_name} | Your business name |
- Click "Save template"
Tip: Keep a warm and personalized tone. Emails that use the client's first name generate better open rates.
3. Configure automatic reminders
- Go to Settings → Reminders
- Enable or disable each reminder via the toggles
- The D-1 reminder is automatically sent the day before at 9am
- The H-2 reminder is automatically sent 2 hours before the appointment time
Measured impact: Professionals who enable both reminders (D-1 + H-2) reduce no-shows by 30 to 50% on average.
4. Why an email didn't arrive
If a client is not receiving automatic emails:
- Check that the client's email was entered correctly when booking (Appointments → click the relevant appointment)
- Ask the client to check their spam / junk mail folder
- moboo emails are sent from noreply@getbookflow.org — some spam filters may block them
- If the issue persists, contact support: contactmoboo404@gmail.com
Note: Misspelled email addresses are the #1 cause of non-delivery. Always double-check the email entered when booking.
